Rabbobank opened in San Francisco California

Rabbobank recently opened in San Francisco California this past summer.  VQL worked with Ewing Foley to supply the custom rectangular pendants that were designed by MBH Architects.  These luminaires used a bio-based high performance interior textile over an acrylic housing. Fixtures were mounted in a cluster format both in the lobby as well as in the conference room.  The pendants were illuminated with CFL lamps in accordance to California’s energy codes.

When a lighting manufacturer fell through on providing fixtures for the Revel Hotel & Casino, Vision Quest Lighting saved the day.  Vision Quest Lighting-Custom Lighting  Custom Lighting Fixtures For the Revel Hotel

In a soft economy, no company likes to turn down work, but sometimes an impossible deadline can be a dealbreaker. Fortunately, this was not the case for custom lighting fabricator Vision Quest Lighting of Ronkonkoma, New York.

“Late last December, we were contacted by a supplier for the Revel Hotel and Casino project in Atlantic City because one of the lighting manufacturers on the project dropped the ball and they were now in a bind,” notes Chris Thiel, creative director and lead designer at Vision Quest.  “The supplier needed custom lighting fixtures for five high-end restaurants delivered in six weeks.”

July 2014, Universal Studios in Orlando Florida opened its newest attraction Harry Potter Escape From Gringotts.  VQL partnered with PRG RH+A to supply custom lighting fixtures as well as refurbishments that were brought to life from the well-known series.  Within the entry of the bank four custom chandeliers were fabricated in our facility using over 70,000 pieces of molded crystal with the largest chandelier measuring 30 feet tall.  Teller desk lamps were replicated off of the prop used within the movie and additional chandeliers up to 5 feet in diameter were supplied in a wrought iron finish.

New Path For Trade: Selling in China VQL at Lightfair for First Time in 2012 Bringing Power to the People in Need

Like many American businesses fighting to keep their prices competitive, Vision Quest Lighting turned to China about six years ago.
It now imports about a sixth of the two dozen to three dozen parts required to make its lighting fixtures from there. Recently, however, the Long Island company began to see China

who came by our booth in Las Vegas this past
June.  Lightfair 2012 was Vision Quest Lighting’s inaugural participation in this international exhibition and allowed us to show off our capabilities and give out our first ever portfolio catalog to all our visitors.

About a year ago, consortium of three Long Island companies got together with the idea of supplying power systems to part of the world where there are shortages.

What gave the group hope is that last year it had built six U-Haul-sized electricity-generating stations and shipped them to Hati.
